2013 in
Estonia is declared the cultural heritage Year within which the bigger
attention will be given also to culture of the related Finno-Ugric people. On August 3, 2013 the Estonian post issued a postage block
with image of the folklore musical group of grandmothers from Seto area in the
southeast of Estonia.
Vilyandi city where are stored the Estonian musical
traditions and where annually passes a folklore music festival becomes the
center of the actions connected with the Year of a cultural heritage. The
cultural heritage Year is a reason for the various actions connected with
careful attitude to a cultural heritage. The keynote of Year - "Without
successors isn't present heritage."
