10.30.2012 Kazakhstan. Collective is the second family
On October 25, 2012 the Republic of Kazakhstan post introduced
into circulation a postage stamp dated for the 10 anniversary of the Collective
Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). The organization is created on the basis
of the Contract on the collective security, signed on May 15, 1992 by the Heads
of several CIS countries and transformed to the high-grade military-political
union at the Moscow session on May 14, 2002. At the moment CSTO include 5
republics of the former USSR: Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan
and Tajikistan. On stamp is represented the CSTO logo.
The issue is printed in mini sheet of 10 values with decorating margins. Artist: N. Sokolov. Printing - offset in 4
colors. Perforation - frame. Size if stamp: 28 x 40 mm. Edition: 4 millions
