15 years ago Astana city became the official capital of the
Republic of Kazakhstan. Now the Day of City is the state holiday in Kazakhstan
and it’s noted on July 6. Based in 1830 as the Cossack outpost, the present
Kazakhstan’s capital differs beauty and singularity. The modern architectural
constructions unrecognizably changed the look of the city which became the decoration
of Astana.
On July 4, 2013 by the enterprise of post service
"Kazpochta" by series "Memorable and Anniversaries" introduced
into circulation of 2 postage Blocks devoted to the 15 anniversary of Astana as
the capitals of Kazakhstan. On stamps in blocks are presented the President of
the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev, a municipal coat of arms, an emblem
of the international EXPO 2007 exhibition which has taken place in Astana, and
also the main sights of the capital.
