On July 2, 2013 the enterprise of post service
"Kazpochta" introduced into circulation a postage set of 2 values
devoted to the 50 anniversary of the first female space flight of cosmonaut V. Tereshkova. The second flight of the woman in space took place only in
1982, the whole 19 years later. Opportunity to appear in an orbit and to leave
in an outer space dropped out to the Soviet female cosmonaut Svetlana Savitskaya.
And only in 1983 went to space the American Sallie Rayd.
The issue is printed in 2 mini
sheets of 6 sets and in collective sheetlet of 3 sets. Designers: К. Ibraishin and S.

Valentina Tereshkova made the space flight on June 16, 1963 in the ship
"Vostok-6". It was the sixth and last spaceship from the series “Vostok”.
The Tereshkova’s ship start from Cosmodrome Baikonur took place not from "Gagarin
platform" but from the duplicating. V. Tereshkova carried out in space two
days 22 hours 40 minutes and 48 seconds. During this time "Vostok-6"
made 48 rounds round the Earth, having passed distance of 1 million 971
thousand km and having risen by height of 231,1 km. V. Tereshkova
all this time was practically in a motionless condition and almost ate nothing.
