On July 12, 2013 the Latvian post introduced into
circulation a postage value devoted to the 150 anniversary of the first stamp
edition in the territory of Latvia. The presentation of posage issue and the
First Day cancellation took place on Riga post office "Sakta". On stamp
are represented the Castle Csesis (the historical name Wenden) ruins where the
Latvia's first stamp was published. And also an image of the postman in uniform
and is submitted the letter which has passed mail with the pasted first stamp.
