On June 30
in Latvia starts the XXV song festival and the XV dance holiday.
Within a week on places of Riga and other Latvian cities will act the choruses
and dancing ensembles. Total number of participants of musical festivals makes
about 40 thousand people. The international jury - specialists in choral
singing from Latvia, Lithuania, Spain, Hungary, Slovenia, Germany and Austria
will estimate the competitions. On June 28, 2013 the state enterprise of post service "Latviyas
pasts" introduced into circulation a postage block of 2 values devoted to the
general holiday of song and dance in Latvia.
