On June 28, 2013 the Russian post introduced into
circulation a postage value dated for the 90 birth anniversary of the
outstanding Avarian Soviet and Russian poet and publicist, public figure, national
poet of Dagestan, Winner of many awards, Hero of the Socialist Work, Commander
of St. Andrew the Patron of Russia Award Rassul Gamzatov (1923-2003). The stamp depicts a portrait of Rassul Gamzatov and the St.
Andrew the Patron of Russia Award badge.

The issue is printed in mini sheet of 11 values and label with decorating

Rassoul Gamzatov is author of numerous poetic, prosaic and
