On March 4, 2013 the Russian post introduces into
circulation a set of 4 selfadhesive values from series “Flora of Russia”. The cones
of coniferous trees and bushes become a plot of issue. On stamps are presented the
following plants: dauria juniper, microbiota, Kayander's larch and Siberian
fir-tree.
The issue is printed in mini sheet of 2 sets. Artist: А. Povarikhin. Size of stamps: 36 х 28 mm. Size of mini sheet: 99,3 х 151,7 mm. Edition: 110 000 copies.(55 000 sheetlets).
Dauria juniper is a creeping bush with the rising branches
covered with grey, exfoliating bark. Microbiota is a sort of coniferous bushes of family cypress.
It is brought in the Red List of Russia. Kayander's larch is the most northern tree in a place of the
growth. It is widespread to the East from the Lena River, in the pool of its
inflow of Aldan, in places comes to the coast of the Okhotskoye Sea. Siberian fir-tree - one of the main types of founders of
the wood of Siberia, Wildly grows from northern Europe to the Magadan region,
in Kazakhstan, in the north of Mongolia and China.
