On March 25, 2013 the Ukraine post introduces into
circulation a postage stamp dated for the 200 birth anniversary of the composer,
opera performer, actor, playwright and author of the first Ukrainian opera Semen
Gulak-Artemovsky (1813-1873). On stamp are presented S. Gulak-Artemovsky portrait
and the photographic image of statement of the opera "Cossack beyond the Danube"
performed by I. Patrozhinsky and N. Litvinenko-Volgemut.
The issue is printed in mini sheet
of 12 values with decorating margins. Design of stamp and cancel - V. Vassilenko. Multicolored; printing – offset Size of stamp – 52 х 25

The wide popularity of S.Gulak-Artemovsky as composer and libretto
author brought the opera "Cossack beyond Danube" which written in
1862 and has become the Ukrainian musical classics. "Month my clear, light and fine, Star eyes of gloomy night! I call you again: to grief facilitate, Bring me the call of the native land!".
