The Ukrainian post continues to acquaint the philatelists
with a cinema history in Ukraine. Last year arrived in circulation the postage
issue in memory of movie-opera "Natalka-Poltavka". The "Ukrposhta" last edition is a set of 2 values in pair devoted to the
documentary film "Man with a Movie Camera”. The stamps are
printed in mini sheet of 8 sets with decorating margins and issue in the post
circulation on December 29, 2012.
The issue designer isn't mentioned by "Ukrposhta".
It is reported only about assistance of the State agency concerning cinema and
Alexander Dovzhenko's National center. Multicolored; printing – offset. Size of stamp - 33 x 30 mm. Perforation
frame - 13 1/4. In UV light are shine

"Man with the Movie Camera” is the plot less silent
experimental documentary film of director Dziga Vertov released in 1929 and
recognized as one of tops of a world cinema. The movie is made of the
short documentary fragments representing chaotic life of the modern city:
traffic and people, work of workers at the industrial enterprises, cultural
actions, medical institutions. On basis of the finished shooting material the
wife of director E.Svilova mounted almost abstract movie in its plotlessness.
