On August 25, 2012 the Lithuania post issued a stamp devoted
to the victories of the Lithuania Grand Duke Olgert over army of the Golden
Horde in fight at the site Darkblue Waters. Website U”kraFil” informed about
this postage issue in news from June 30, 2012. After the Lithuanian post on
October 24, 2012 the ukrainian post also introduces into circulation a postage stamp
devoted to the 650 anniversary of The Darkbluewaters fight which took place in
the autumn of 1362 on the river Darkblue Waters in a neighborhood of the city
of Novoarkhangelsk in the territory of modern Ukraine.
The issue is printed in mini sheet of 12 values. Artist of stamp and cancel - O. Rudenko. Multicolored; printing –
offset. Size of stamp - 52 x 25.2 mm. Perforation frame - 13 3/4:14
1/4. Edition - 150 000 copies. Printed on SE

The fight on Darkblue Waters was the beginning of the
liberation of the people of Eastern Europe from Mongol Tatar yoke. This battle
allowed the Prince Olgert to take away the most part of lands of Kiev Russ'
from the Golden Horde and to include them in structure of the Grand Lithuanian
duchy.
