The Ukrainian post congratulates all orthodox Christians on
coming Great day of Sacred Easter (in Ukrainian the Easter - Velikden). On
April 30, 2013 during the period between the Palm Sunday and orthodox Easter
the state enterprise "Ukrposhta" introduced into circulation a postage stamp
dated for the biggest Christian holiday. The stamp depicts an Easter cakes and
painted eggs, basket, Ukrainian embroidered towel and blooming willow twigs
symbolizing the return of spring and the rebirth of Life.
The issue is printed in mini sheet of 12 values with decorating margins. Design of
stamp and cancel - N. Andreychenko. Multicolored; printing – offset Size of
