The state enterprise "Uzbekiston Pochtasy" issued in
circulation on December 28, 2012
a set of 3 values and Block “Tashkent Zoo”. The Zoo of Tashkent
is created in 1924 on part of the territory of the former country giving the
governor general of Turkestan. In 1997 the zoo was reconstructed by the
decision of the government of Uzbekistan. Now the Tashkent zoo occupies the
territory of 22,7
hectares. It contains over three thousand animals and
birds of 415 types.
