From September 8 to September 12, 2013 Moscow city accepts
the 18th Annual conference and General meeting of the International association
of prosecutors. Subject of the forthcoming action - "The prosecutor and
the rule of law". On September 6, 2013 the Russian Federation post introduced
into circulation a postage stamp devoted to the Conference of the International
association of prosecutors.
The issue is printed in mini sheet of 15 values. Design: R Komsa. Size of stamps: 30 x 42 mm. Edition: 360
000 copies (25 000 sheetlets).
The association is founded on June 6, 1995 in UN representation
in Vienna. The main objective of the organization is ensuring protection of
human rights, rule of law, application of the general standards of criminal
prosecution, providing an impartial and effective consequence. The association
carries out the activity by means of annual and regional conferences.

In memory of the centenary anniversary of genocide of the Armenians
from Turkey on August 16, 2013 the Armenia post introduced into circulation a
set of 2 postage values on which are represented the friends and defenders of
the Armenian people the English diplomat and historian viscount James Bryce
(1838-1922) and the German public figure, humanist, doctor of theology Johannes
Lepsius (1858-1926). The issue is printed in 2
mini sheets of 10 sets with decorating margins
James Bryce - English statesman, jurist, historian. He
repeatedly acted in the British parliament in protection of Armenians. He expose
a chauvinistic anti-Armenian policy of Turkey. In 1916 under edition of J.
Bryce in London was published the collection of documents "Position of
Armenians in the Ottoman Empire in (1915-16) "Blue book".
Johannes Lepsius - founder of the organization for the help
to Christians in the east. By his activity he tried to pay attention of world
community to destruction of the Armenian population in the Ottoman Empire,
since the period of riots of Armenians in Turkey in 1894-96. He was author of
the book "Bericht über die Lage des armenischen Volkes in der Türkei"
in whom condemned genocide of Armenians.

Last summer day in Moldova is celebrated a traditional
holiday – National day of language - Limba Noastra. On August 28, 2013 by the
Moldavian post in main post office of Kaushany town took place a presentation
of a postage block dated for the 125 birth anniversary of poet, writer, translator
and theologian Alexey Mateevich (1888-1917).

Alexey Mateevich is the military priest of the Russian
Imperial Army. In June, 1917 wrote the well-known poem "Limba
noastra" ("Our language"), 80 years later become the anthem of
the Republic of Moldova. At the front World War I A. Mateevich caught typhus and
on August 24, 1917 he died in the Kishinev hospital.

The first telephone network in the republic was laid still
in the mid-twenties the last century. Though on density of telecommunication
services Tajikistan takes the last place among CIS countries and the Central
Europe now in Tajikistan preconditions for development of modern types of
communication are created. Now services of cellular communication in Tajikistan
are provided by 6 companies - Babylon-M, to Indigo, MLT, Todzhfon, TK Mobile,
and Indigo-Somoncom.
In July, 2013 by the Tajikistan post is introduced into
circulation new definitive postage issue - a set of 3 values devoted to the development
of mobile communication and telecommunication technologies. On stamps are
presented a logos of the mobile operators acting in the Tajik market of
cellular communication, the satellite antenna and the building of the
government of the Republic of Tajikistan. - Алло. Нағз шунида намешавад. Бемалол бошад, баландтар ran

Just on the international aerospace salon "MAKS-2013"
in Zhukovsky town (Moscow suburb) the Ukrainian state enterprise
"Antonov" presented a near highways the jet passenger plane of new
generation AN-158 - modification of the regional AN-148 plane. Personifying
characteristics of the predecessor, AN-158 surpasses him in a number of
characteristics: the quantity of passenger seats is increased, the passenger
cabin is extended, the volume of luggage shelves is increased, the wing design
is improved, and fuel consumption and operational costs are reduced. However,
on "MAKS-2013" the buyers poorly were interested in the Ukrainian
planes. The Antonov state corporation large deals on sale of the aircraft
equipment didn't manage to conclude.
On August 31, 2013 the post of Ukraine for the purpose of
promoting of idea of the Ukrainian aircraft industry is presented an extraordinary
postage value with image of the jet passenger AN-158 liner.

The Russian geographical society and the Russian post
celebrate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Severnaya Zemlya
Archipelago located on border of the Kara Sea and the Laptev Sea. On September
4, 2013 will issue in circulation a postage Block of 3 values with image of the
B. Vilkitsky portrait and the icebreaking steamships "Vaigach" and
"Taimyr". On block margins is presented an Arctic landscape.

The group of islands, called Land of Nicholas II, was opened
on September 4, 1913 by participants of the Hydrographical expedition of the
Arctic Ocean under the leadership of Boris Vilkitsky. On January 11, 1926 the
archipelago was renamed by the resolution of Presidium of the All-Russian
central executive committee into Severnaya Zemlya. The archipelago Severnaya Zemlya consists of 4 large islands
(October revolution, Bolshevik, Komsomol, Pioneer) and several smalls. Its
total area makes 37,000 square km. 47% of the Severnaya Zemlya is covered by
ice. On the archipelago there is the most northern island point of Asia -
Arctic Cape.

In 2011 and 2012 the Latvian post published the postage
issues devoted to free seaports Riga and Ventspils. Information about the
issues is published on website UkraFil in news of August 27, 2011 and of May 8,
2012. Unlike the Latvian ports Riga and Ventspils the Liepaja port
has no status free but in the territory covering practically all cities, the
special economic zone works. On August 23, 2013 the Latvia post issued a postage stamp
devoted to the Liepaja port. The issue is printed in mini sheet of 10 values with decorating margins

The medieval name of Liepaja city is "Liva Portas"
(Livonian harbor). With the entry of Courland in the Russian Empire in 1795,
the city received the name Libau. Located on the shores of the Baltic Sea the Liepaja
port (Liepājas osta) is the third largest port in Latvia. Because of the
constant sea breeze Liepaja is known as the "City where the wind is
born".
