Irbis is universal hunter: catches all from mice to yaks. The length of a jump during hunting reaches 14 meters. Usual residences of leopards are bushes, the Alpine meadows and naked rocks at borders of eternal snow. 
Snow leopard is cruelly exterminated by poachers because of the fine skin. Almost in all countries it is included in the red book. Today in the world there were no more than 2000 individuals of this fine predator.

The snow leopard is brought in the International Red book, as an endangered species. In 1994 the Kirghiz post in aegis of the Fund of protection of the wild nature WWF had issued a set of 4 values devoted to this unique inhabitant of mountain tops.

Ginzburg's house became history, as the first skyscraper of Ukraine. The 12-storeyed building was constructed on Institutskaya Street in 1910-1912 during the second construction boom. The known builder-contractor, the merchant of the first guild Lev Borisovich Ginzburg became the owner of a construction. The construction managed in one and a half million imperial rubles.
The house was blown up on September 24, 1941 by receding armies of Red Army. Finally it was destroyed in the early fifties. On September 24, 1945 inhabitants of the Khreshchatyk put candles in memory of victims of blasting a building. In 1954-1961 on a place where there was Ginzburg's House, erected Moscow hotel (since 2005 - "Ukraine").

Fort Ross in the XIX century is the most southern Russian settlement in North America. It was based by the Russian-American company for trade and trade in furs in 1812. In 1841 the company sold the property to large landowner John Satter. The unique original structure which has remained up to now is the house of the last Russian commandant Rotchev was declared by object of historical value of national value. Now the Fort Ross is a historical park of the State of California.
