This year on February 22. is executed 90th anniversary of the Kazakh cinema master, Hnored worker of arts of KazSSR, film director Mazhit Begalin. Begalin shot feature films are «His time will come», «Traces leave for the horizon», «Behind us Moscow», «A song about Manshuk» rightly included in the golden fund "Kazakhfilm".

On September 5, 2012 in memory of the outstanding Soviet and Moldavian opera singer, the winner of the state and international awards and various musical awards the National actress of the USSR, the Hero of Socialist Work Maria Bieshu the post of Moldova devoted a postage stamp which took place the presentation at the central post office of Kishinev.

Maria Bieshu (1935-2012) - World opera scene Star. Her theatrical debut took place in the spring of 1962 when she sang part of Toska in the opera with the same name of Puccini. In total in creative repertoire of the singer about three tens soprano parties of ancient classical, sacred and modern music. Maria Biyeshu performed Tatyana's parts in "Eugen Onegin" Tchaikovsky, Aida in "Aida" Verdi, Chio-Chio-san in «Madam Butterfly» Puccini, Desdemona in "Othello" Verdi, Lisa of Tchaikovsky's "Queen of spades" and many other.

Maria Bieshu died this year on May 16 and is buried on the Central cemetery of Kishinev, Armyanskaya Street, there are buried the great people of Moldova.

On September 15, 2012 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue a postage stamp dated for 100th birth anniversary of Byelorussian writer and poet Maxim Tank.

Maxim Tank (real name Eugen Skurko (1912-1995) is poet, translator and statesman. His first collection of verses was named “On stages” (1936). Maxim Tank created many books, poems and collections of verses. His well-known books are: "The lightning track" (1957), "The gulp of water" (1964), "Let there be light" (1972) and ”Ave Maria" (1980). Thematic breadth and variety of forms are characteristic features of his works. Maxim Tank also wrote verses and tales for children.

On September 7, 2012 the Russian post presented a set of 3 values devoted to the outstanding lawyers of Russia. On stamps against a moire tape are presented G. Derzhavin, A.Koni, M. Speransky's portraits and the Law Pillar.

Gavrila Derzhavin (1743-1816) took active part in suppression of revolt of Pugachyov, was the governor of Olonets and Tambov provinces. Ekaterina II appointed Derzhavin the stats-secretary. At Emperor Alexander I when it was formed the seven first Russian ministries; Derzhavin became the first Minister of Justice.
Anatoly Koni (1844-1927) - lawyer, judge, state and public figure, outstanding judicial speaker, valid privy councilor, member of the State Council of the Russian Empire.
Mikhail Speransky (1772-1839) in the Ministry of Internal Affairs had headed department to which was recommended to prepare projects of the state transformations. With establishment of the State Council Speransky became the state secretary, the most influential dignitary of Russia, the second person after the emperor in the state.

This year the Baltic Lighthouse Käsmu belonging to Estonia executes 120 years. The Estonian post celebrates this event by postage issue. On September 13, 2012 throughout a traditional series "Lighthouses of Estonia" is issued into circulation a postage stamp represented the image to Kyasma Lighthouse and geographical coordinates of his site.

The lighthouse on the higher western bank of Käsmu Bay (earlier Kasperwieck) is one of few wooden lighthouses that have come down to our days. The Käsmu Lighthouse, built on the initiative of local ship owners and the maritime school, began working in 1892. It was a building more like a wooden house six meters high with the walls painted white. The height of the light was 8.2 meters and its visibility six miles. For centuries Käsmu Bay was considered the best shelter on the Tallinn-Narva shipping route.

On September 7, 2012 the Russian post introduces into circulation a postage Block devoted to the 150 anniversary of birth date of Russian painter A.E. Arhipov (1862-1930). On stamp in Block is represented the picture A.Arhipov "In visit" (1915), on block marfins is the portrait of artist.

Abram Efimovich Arhipov became in history of Russian art of the end by XIX - the beginnings of the XX century as the artist of the thin and poetic talent who has devoted the creativity to the Russian village, a country subject. On September 8, 2012 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue a postage stamp “75th anniversary of fire and rescue sports in Belarus”. The stamp depicts one of the four events of fire and rescue sports - ascent of the scaling-ladder to the 4th floor of a training tower.

The history of fire and rescue sports in Belarus started in 1937 when they held the first Belarusian fire brigades sport competitions. The programme of the competitions included applied elements used for putting out a fire.
The modern fire and rescue sports include the following 4 events: ascent to the 4th floor of a training tower, 100m hurdles, 4x100m hurdles relay race and fire attack.
