"To introduce into circulation a stamps in Knowledge Day becomes our good tradition", declared the "Ukrpochta's" general director Oksana Plotnikova. "It’s already the second issue of a series developed in cooperation with the well-known master of the Ukrainian book graphics Vladislav Erko. Exactly one year ago, on September 1, 2011 was introduced into circulation the two values in pair with its the whole world well-known "The snow queen".

On August 31, 2012 the Russian Federation post introduced into circulation a postage stamp dated for opening of the Summit of the Asian and Pacific economic cooperation which will pass in Vladivostok from September 2 to September 9, 2012. On stamp are represented the official logo of the summit of APEC and the symbolical image of the bridge.

The issue is printed in mini sheet of 8 values and also in special Block of 2 values intended for Booklet-Luxe.

The annual 24th meeting of leaders of the states of APEC will take place in the Far East, on Russian island “Russian”. The purpose APEC is increase of economic growth and prosperity in the region and strengthening of the Asian and Pacific community. It is the first summit of APEC which is accepted by Russia. Shortly before summit opening in Vladivostok the unique bridge through the strait Bosporus which has connected the continent to the island “Russian” where the meeting of leaders of the states of APEC will take place was put in operation.

The first day of autumn the Ukrainian post as sign of parting with summer presented the new edition by series "Generous Ukraine". On September 1, 2012 the enterprise “Ukrposhta” introduces into circulation a postage Block of 4 values named "Summer". On August 30, 2012 by the Russian Federation post throughout a series "World cultural heritage of Russia" is introduce into circulation a postage Block «Trinity-Sergius Lavra». On stamps in block is represented the architectural complex of Trinity-Sergius monastery, on block margins is a spring landscape.

The precious shrine of the Russian land, world famous Trinity-Sergius Lavra is based by Saint Sergy Radonezhsky about 1340. For many years Saint Sergius monastery on the influence won first place among all Russian monasteries, being the most important spiritual and cultural center of the country. In 1744 the monastery received the honourable name of Lavra. Since 1814 in the territory of Trinity-Sergius monastery the Moscow spiritual academy - the oldest higher educational institution of Russia settles down. Today the monastery continues to play an outstanding role in the life of Russian Church.
The Trinity-Sergius monastery is in Sergiev Posad city (in the recent past Zagorsk city) in Moscow region.

On August 27, 2012 the Uzbek communication and information agency issued a set of 4 values and Block «Disappearing fauna of Uzbekistan». On stamps are represented the birds and animals living in territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and included in the Red book:

Every year at the end of summer the season of collecting mushrooms, as a rule, opens. Therefore the Estonian post acts with caution that collecting and the use in food of poisonous mushrooms can be injurious to your health.
Today, on August 30, 2012, in post circulation of Estonia arrives a stamp with the deadly and poisonous mushroom image named "Angel destroyer" (Amanita virosa). The issue is printed in sheet of 25 values of brightly red color, as the danger warning. Misters-mushroom pickers, be attentive and careful! Protect the health and don't use as snack to alcohol unfamiliar and doubtful mushrooms.

The English name "Destroying angel" is translated, as "angel destroyer" - a mushroom of a sort of Fly agarics. It is mortally poisonous. A mushroom is of white color, with a hat from 3 to 10 centimeters in diameter. Leg is pale, rather long. It grows mainly in the mixed woods. After the use in food in absolute majority of cases there is a lethal outcome. The mushroom strikes a liver. It is especially dangerous also that outwardly it is easy for confusing with ceps.

On August 27, 2012 at the Kishinev main post office took place the presentation of postage issue of 4 values devoted to two insignificant figures of the Moldavian national culture: E.Ureke and S. Mokan and two outstanding representatives of world science, culture, history and philosophy: George Emil Palada and Jean-Jacques Rousseau.
